PUTRAJAYA — The Malaysian Press Institute (MPI) has praised the government’s decision to introduce the RM30 million Media Innovation Fund, calling it a well-timed move to accelerate digital transformation within Malaysia’s media industry.
MPI Chief Executive Officer Ainol Amriz Ismail said the fund reflects the government’s serious commitment to maintaining a robust, credible and forward-looking media ecosystem capable of adapting to digital disruption and technological change.
