OVERVIEW
A practical programme focused on smartphone-based journalism, enabling participants to capture, edit and publish compelling photos and videos for digital and social media platforms responsibly and effectively.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:
Understand the fundamentals of mobile journalism and apply smartphone-based techniques to gather and produce content.
Capture compelling photos and videos using effective visual storytelling methods.
Apply ethical practices, verification principles and responsible use of social media when publishing content.
Plan, shoot and edit short videos or social media content through hands-on practical exercises.

Smartphone Techniques for News Gathering and Content Production
Digital Ethics, Verification and Responsible Social Media Use
Mobile Photography and Videography for Storytelling
Producing High-Quality Content: Scripts, Shots and Sound
Mobile Video Editing and Practical MoJo Content Creation
METHODOLOGY
This course content will be delivered through short lectures, group discussions, group presentations, role-play and skill practise during the training programme.
