OVERVIEW
A practical training programme focused on independent news production, equipping participants with the skills to develop stories, record interviews, edit multimedia content, and deliver impactful real-time reporting using mobile and digital tools responsibly and effectively.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:
Produce news stories independently using effective writing, recording, and editing techniques.
Apply ethical and legal considerations when gathering, producing, and publishing content.
Use digital devices and mobile applications to capture, edit and deliver multimedia stories.
Conduct hands-on practice through live reporting and on-site assignments demonstrating real-time content production.

METHODOLOGY
This course content will be delivered through short lectures, group discussions, group presentations, role-play and skill practise during the training programme.
