KUALA LUMPUR: Eight Media Prima Bhd journalists were among 30 media personnel who were given awards for their close cooperation with the police force.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said he was honoured and excited to celebrate with the media, whom he considered as strategic partners of the force.
“The media play a crucial part in conveying the force’s role in upholding the Federal Constitution, enforcing the law, and reaching all levels of society.
“The strong cooperation between police and the media is rooted in our shared responsibility to provide accurate and transparent information to uphold justice, regardless of the situation,” he said during the appreciation ceremony at federal police headquarters in Bukit Aman today.
