MUNICH: The New Straits Times’ (NST) ‘Heard the News?’ initiative has clinched the top prize in the Print-Digital Fusion category at the WAN-IFRA World Printers Summit in Munich.
The award recognises NST’s innovative approach in integrating print and digital platforms to make news more engaging, accessible, and educational for readers.
Launched this year, ‘Heard the News?’ was created to help Malaysians improve their English language skills and general knowledge. The initiative enables readers to read and listen to selected news stories simultaneously, enhancing comprehension, pronunciation, and awareness of current issues.
